Replacement of QR Codes by Colored Matrices
Moc, Filip ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about developing new color code for saving digital data in an image. In this report you can find informations about existing related technologies including some existing codes. You can also find here design of the new code and it's gradual improvements. There is also description of generation and recognition of this code. Finally there are results of experiments which demonstrates the success of all the work.
Security Icon Checking Application
Ružička, Vladimír ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
This work is about icons in Windows systems and about their format. The work shows the way, how the system use them and how malware can profit on icons. It explore how icons can be compared one to another. The work contains application, which tests icons.
Face detection in image
Pospíšil, Lukáš ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
The main puprose of this paper is to introduce some of algorithms used in face detection in images. This paper focuses on face detection by using a skin-color based segmentation that is computed in three color spectrums (RGB,YCbCr and HSV). This paper also includes software for face detection in pictures and videos.
Generation of Sound from Images
Brada, Tomáš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with different kinds of converting image data (two-dimensional discrete signal) to sound data (one-dimensional discrete signal). Implemented algorithms are using knowledge of music theory, properties of human hearing and basic techniques of 1D and 2D signal processing as Fourier transform and modulating frequency spectrum via high-pass and low-pass filter.
FPGA application in LED matrix display controlling
Šunka, Pavel ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis gives an overview of the issue of control of full-color RGB LED panels with a large number of rows and columns. It deals with communication protocols for image transfer and information exchange. It focuses on implementing the FPGA into the RGB LED control structure. In the first half, the thesis focuses on deepening the theoretical knowledge about LED technologies, their control and color display. It further solves communication with superior elements. The last part of the theory is dedicated to FPGA circuits. The second part of the thesis describes the practical design of the FPGA circuit from UART and SPI communication through data storage from the communication to the panel control itself.
Web Tool for Evaluation of Multifunction Printers Using Print & Scan Method
Lipjanec, Silvester ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Čejka, Rudolf (advisor)
Semestral thesis deals with the way of color management on software and hardware level of office printers. Thesis describes design and implemetation of web tool, which uses Print & Scan method for automatic evaluation printing quality of multifunction printers without any auxiliary tools. Thesis also describes creation of printing pattern needed to evaluate the printing quality, using Print & Scan method. Finally thesis describes the way of analyzing scanned pattern.
Graphical modular LED display
Šutera, Libor ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Project describing general setup and properties of mikroprocessors from series 8051 and properties of components, that are use in project. Next part describing process of construction and software equipment of mikroprocessor. The main direction of project is make a suggestion about driving of matrix with 8x8 RGB LED diode. Suggested mudular LED display complete with components and aktivate matrix. In last part write program for mikroprocessor for driving LED matrix a will be communicate with PC. And last write programe, which show accuracy of function.
Deinterlacing in uncompressed digital video sequences
Meňhart, Pavel ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Slanina, Martin (advisor)
Interlacing is the process of frame scanning and frame displaying being based on the even and uneven lines‘ interchanging. This framework originated along with the PAL and NTSC television standards‘ formation in the course of 1930s. The process mentioned above stopped frames displayed on older TV sets from flashing. Nevertheless, there is a disadvantage of the frame processed after this manner, consisting in its attribute to be displayed in a clean-cut way just on classical TV sets. However, plasma and LCD television appliances, projectors and computer monitors always display the entire frame all at once, therefore composing it of the both fields, yet not being acquired concurrently, differing in moving objects‘ positions, moreover their contours are doubled, frayed and unfocussed. This master´s thesis deals with fundamentals of the interlaced video signal‘s formation, problems coming about at featuring the interlaced video like this, followed by operating methods of deinterlacing itself. In conclusion, there are my own softwares presented, having been developed in MATLAB computer environment and software command language C, and implementing some of the operating methods designed for deinterlacing in uncompressed digital video sequences.
Methods of Increasing the Dynamic Dange of Image
Sailer, Zbyněk ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with dynamic range of digital cameras sensors problem and methods for solving this problem. There are described the existing methods of high dynamic range image creation, the techniques of obtaining the input data and a new method of creation of HDR image - so-called direct generation.
Intelligent LED Light
Krejčí, Martin ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and implement a prototype of intelligent LED lighting with the possibility of mixing colours (cold white, warm white, red, green and blue) and with integrated motion, smoke, temperature and pressure sensors, which can be connected to an island photovoltaic system. Create a control unit and a W(LAN) unit that will allow communication outside this closed bus using a web interface. Establish appropriate and reliable communication between all proposed system units. The thesis first describes lighting, its history and the use of multi-colour LED lighting today. Then all the buses used are described. The design of the device itself consists of a 3D model of the prototype LED lighting embedded in the ceiling, followed by the selection of the specific integrated circuits, microcontroller kits and other peripherals needed. At the end of the paper, the measurement results of all the designed components of the device are summarized.
